Cupon EA-9
Finish HB is two-pack, amine-adduct cured high-build epoxy coating. It
can be easily applied up to 150 microns in one coat. The feature,
combined with range of resistance properties makes Copon EA-9 Finish HB
a durable, high performance and economical coating for immersion as
well as non-immersion services.
Copon EA-9 Finish HB is particularly intended for internal lining of
steel tanks for storing drinking water, waste treatment, vegetable and
animal oils.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Set up temporary by-pass piping system to avoid water distruption during work duration.
- Clear water tank inside-out from rust, sludge, weed and other foreign material and clean using high-pressure water jet.
- Repair or replace any faulty level indicator, sensor float, partition, roofing system etc.
- Apply 1 layer of red oxide primer throughout all the
internal surface including trusses, bracket stays and internal ladder
and let dry.
- Apply 2 layers of high-build epoxy coating - Copon EA-9
HB - throughout all the internal surface and parts to get an everage
thickness of 150 - 200 microns. Let dry between each layer.
- Paint extenal surface with 1 coat of anti rust and 1 coat of aluminium paint or others as specified.

SAFETY PRECAUTION
During application, naked flames, welding operations and smoking should not allowed and good ventilation is necessary.
British Standard 1564 : 1975(revised): Sectional water container/tanks must be inspected and maintained every 12 month
