DESCRIPTION

Grouting work is a process of injection chemical into leaking surfaced (concrete) which is combination of two component polyurethane system and purcat.

CHARACTERISTICS

Totally water resistant.
Solvent free
Some reaction with salty or contaminated water.
Excellent bonding strength.
Non-toxic in cured form.
Resistant to biological attack.

APPLICATION

For sealing leakages and water seepages in tunnels, subways, pipes, reservoirs, manholes, concrete structures and slurry walls.
For soils stabilization, tie-back anchors and underpinning of foundations.
For sealing leakages through movement joints e.g expansion joints, tunnel segment joints.
For sewer rehabilitation, manhole repairs and soil stabilization e.g protection of concrete pipes againts soil settlement.

OPERATION

Firstly it should be estimated how long it would take to get sufficient penetration, then the correct percentage of catalyst estimated from the chart below. Always under-estimate rather than over-estimate the quantity of catalyst required, as more can always be added during operation.

The premixed resin can be pumped by means of the Wagner (Finish 300) high pressure injection pump. Following the injection, the pump and attachments must be cleaned with xylene, toluene or thinner.

SAFETY INFORMATION

When handling the raw materials and their components, care should be taken to prevent the liquids from coming into contact skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of their vapours.
